Spico is a programming language that addresses stochastic modeling and simulation in systems biology. Spico was develloped during by the BioComputing group of the LIFL and IRI. Spico was created during the PhD project of Celine Kuttler in Oct 2006 under supervison of Cedric Lhoussaine. An implementation of Spico in Mozart-Oz by Joachim Niehren is available since August 27, 2007.
